Queen St Facelift
After a very busy month and 2 delegations from us with the Greens and CBT the Urban Strategy and Governance committee has recommended that the CBD project team consider trialing a transit mall in Queen st.
This is good but we have to keep the ACC focused on this.

Kepa Bush walkway on Hobson Bay
Kit and Graeme will organise some action on this
Newton Rd. Mr Flanagan gave a page of excuses why we can not place better crossing on Newton Rd.

Newmarket Walking study
Jen, Rae and Marie went along and meet with the consultants. We will work with them for better walking in Newmarket.

Nissan Micra advert of car parked on footpath
Our complaint has been upheld. The advert has been withdrawn as it is wrong to advertise illegal activity.
Fair GO
This TV show has highlighted car parking on the footpath in Summer St and has come down on the side of the car owners. Ron will follow this up.
